Financial Health Check

Our experience of working with clients over many years is that an increasing number wish to have a truly independent financial health check carried out on a regular basis which can be used to identify issues for more detailed investigation. We offer this service and will work with an organisation to analyse the assumptions and sensitivities and recommend how improvements can be achieved. This includes rent reviews, stock condition surveys and asset management.

We already have a significant track record of advising clients who are now reaping year on year benefits. When this health check identifies issues for more detailed investigation, we can offer specialist advice in all areas.

Business Planning

We can provide a comprehensive business planning service which examines in detail all of the significant inputs and identifies where the most significant improvements can be achieved. We have good relationships with all the funders currently operating in the sector and those returning to the sector.

Our work in this area also includes enhancing the business plan – examining current plans in respect of rents, assets and investments – and identifying improvements that could be achieved and an implementation plan for realising the benefits.

We believe a that a key element of the exercise is to create free equity within the plan, freeing up additional resources that can then be deployed to further strengthen the plan and create greater diversity across an organisation.

Our experience has demonstrated the need for Councillors and Board Members to have a better understanding of business plans and their significance in risk management. Scenarios that once seemed hypothetical have become a reality. We can provide training for Councillors and Board Members tailored to their specific needs.
