Materials & Technology

Savills identify, procure, and deliver bespoke energy technology solutions for clients based on implementing measures they need, are practicable, and affordable in line with best practice.

How we can help you:

Savills combine our traditional service offering and understanding of the UK housing stock to identify and marry the needs of the housing stock with the appropriate materials and technologies available. Offering experience, scalability, and maximisation of your potential in this sector.

Our Expertise:

The existing housing stock represents 27% of overall CO2 emissions in the UK, and as such will be a central focus to contribute to significant emissions reductions in line with the government’s strict national targets.

This reduction will be achieved through a combination of thermal efficiency materials, such as insulation, but will also require significant contributions from on-site microgeneration technologies, such as Solar PV.

Through developing key partnerships -- between energy suppliers and generators, product manufacturers and installers, and landlords -- Savills are able to procure a broad spectrum of the latest materials and technologies at highly competitive costs and compliant with OJEU guidance.

Savills are able to access significant funding to offset upfront capital costs on materials and technologies:

  • Feed in Tariffs (FITs)
  • Renewable Heat Incentives (RHIs)
  • Low Carbon Buildings Programme (heat only)
  • CESP
