We have provided advice and assistance to local authorities for the post ballot process. We have carried out this role both after supporting the Authority through the pre-ballot process and where the Council has sought new advisers for the post ballot role ensuring that the Council is left in a healthy robust position for the post transfer environment.

 

Our Expertise:

Our experienced team have worked together on around 20 transfers, many of which have involved us working for the Council in the post ballot period. This has in some cases been where we have acted as Lead Consultant through the pre ballot period but where a partner Association has been selected with there own advisers or where we have come in after the ballot after the Lead Consultant has opted to support the new organisation.

We recognise that the Council needs to have skilled negotiators that it can count on at a difficult time.
