Description
Woodside is an exceptional large family house (5,640sq.ft) occupying a secluded position on the edge of this picturesque village. The property was built in 1967 having been designed for
the owner by a local architect, Evans Roberts & Partners, and built to continental standards. The current owners purchased the property some 27 years ago and have further enhanced
the property by acquiring the adjoining paddock. There are a number of significant features to Woodside, including the spacious 34ft drawing room with its superb Norwegian feature fireplace and large windows that take full advantage of its southerly aspect and views over the paddocks and adjoining farmland. There is high quality timber flooring through the principal rooms, and a most impressive reception hall with its marble flooring and wide staircase. The accommodation, which is arranged over three floors, is exceptionally flexible, the large basement being suitable for
conversion to a number of purposes; having been used as an office and a playroom by the current owners, it could be converted subject to the necessary consents to create a large
annexe. The first floor also offers a degree of flexibility, with the possibility of creating a "granny/nanny/au pair flat" with the layout of the accommodation lending itself to this form of
arrangement.
