Rural market in the East of England

Preparing for year end sale

Based on our experiences in 2013, the year end is a key moment when monies need to be invested and as a result deals are closed. To achieve completion by year end due diligence needs to begin over the summer for planned marketing campaigns to commence in early September to achieve the best price.

We have produced a simple due diligence check list which can be used for most property sales and a copy is attached to provide you with a prompt for the most esoteric questions you might be faced with from a purchaser looking for a price chip.

We are not experts at raising finance and many expert borrowers are not good at asset management or organising the process of selling property.  There are a number of reasons why we believe that a properly funded marketing strategy, put forward by a property Receiver will generate better and faster returns to our lender clients.  Our specialist skill in preparing for the sale is one such reason.  We would like to think we are also experts at closing sales, on time and within budget but without any difficult moments like a price chip!  We pride ourselves on recommending a deal and closing it at the same price.
