Bestseller Retailer Group has launched a search for 30 new stores across Ireland, a venture which will create over 200 jobs in the next 12-18 months and shows confidence in the Irish market. International real estate advisor Savills has been appointed by the Danish group, which currently occupies 67 stores in Ireland, to acquire the new premises.
Foreign investment flourishes in Madrid office market

Overseas interest in Madrid offices has boomed as foreign investment rose to 31% of transactions in 2010, up from 2% in 2009 according to a Savills report. The international real estate advisor cites SEB, WP Carey and Continental Property among the key international players that have helped to revitalise the market and notes a preference for sale and leaseback transactions with long leases, particularly by SEB and WP Carey.

Major US fashion and lifestyle retailer Abercrombie and Fitch has taken a lease at 34 College Green, a former banking hall building, in Dublin’s city centre. The letting is a boost to the Irish capital’s growing international retail line-up.
