We acquired this asset for Deka in June 1995 for £26.3 million. The circa 6,120 sq m (65,874 sq ft) office and retail scheme was completed in 1992 and prominently located close to St Paul’s. The building is multi-let with Banco Santander occupying the majority of the office space as their UK headquarters and retail tenants including Abbey National and Whitbread. Deka sold the building in March 2006 for £47.3 million, which reflected an exit yield of about 4%.
