Lloyds Building, 1 Lime Street, London EC3

Deka acquired this internationally recognised iconic office building in January 1996 for £180 million, which reflected a net initial yield of circa 6.25%. It was designed by architects Richard Rogers Partnership and was completed in 1986. It provides circa 32,330 sq m (348,000 sq ft) of net lettable office accommodation with column free floor plates up to 30,000 sq ft on the largest floors. It was acquired on a sale and lease back basis from the Society of Lloyds. In December 2004 we advised Deka on their disposal to German Closed End Fund, CLI, for £232 million.
