Established in June 1997, Savills Private Finance (SPF) offers a personalised service to clients whose mortgage requirements are managed from start to finish. Being independent means we are free to consider all the options. As well as mortgages, we also offer financial planning advice and can arrange insurance cover for you and your family, your home and your belongings, or your business.

Residential Mortgages

Our advisers should know the most appropriate way to structure your mortgage financing and the lender to approach to offer a competitive rate. No matter how big the loan, we should be able to find the most suitable deal for you. We can save you time as well as money: arranging the finance and often valuation, and steering the transaction through to completion.

Remortgaging is also strongly recommended to ensure your mortgage remains competitive, years after you take it out. SPF not only helps you find the most appropriate deal in the first instance; part of our job is to ensure it remains so by recommending alternatives once your offer period ends.

Buy-to-Let Mortgages

Our landlord clients range from those with one or two buy-to-let properties to experienced investors managing a portfolio of investment dwellings. So whether you are looking to expand or start from scratch, we can help.

Remortgaging is particularly important, enabling landlords to access better rates or to free up cash to fund further purchases. Our specialist advisers can look at the whole picture, considering your future plans and strategies, not just at a one-off purchase. Our consultants are able to structure a remortgage plan across a number of different lenders and products.

International Mortgages

Buying property in a foreign country is often complicated so calling upon the expertise of a professional is vital. We have a team of advisers with experience in foreign property purchase and handling international mortgage advice. We can arrange finance in Europe and further afield, primarily arranging mortgages in: France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, The US, the Caribbean and Dubai.

We can also arrange multi-currency lending (in Euro, US dollar or even Yen) against your UK home. This can mean a lower rate of interest than you would get with Sterling. Alternatively, you could opt for a managed currency mortgage, where a manager moves your mortgage in and out of various currencies when he judges that it is prudent to do so. Bear in mind, however, that changes in the exchange rate may increase the Sterling equivalent of your debt.

Agricultural finance
