Royal Tunbridge Wells has been fashionable since the Chalybeate spring was discovered in 1606 and remains so today. The lifestyle and town are both welcoming & pleasant.

In 1828 celebrated architect Decimus Burton, brought London’s Regent’s Park concept of villas to Calverley Park. By the end of the 19th Century the town was ringed with these residential parks, including the best known, Nevill, Hungershall and Camden.

The Pantiles with its famous colonnaded walkway, the High Street & Chapel Place offer antique shops, jewellers, boutiques and restaurants whilst the Westfield Shopping Centre offers a conventional mall experience. The Common, a unique and large expanse of open greenery within the heart of the town, Dunorlan Park and Calverley Grounds offer the perfect setting for leisurely activities.

Easy access to the capital and coast makes the area extremely popular with London based buyers, week-end homebuyers and tourists. A regular South Eastern railway service provides easy access to London Bridge, Cannon Street and London Charing Cross with a journey time just under one hour.

The area offers a wide choice of primary and secondary, private and grammar school education. These include Claremont Primary, Frant CEP, Holmewood House, The Skinners School, Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar, Tonbridge School, and Eastbourne College.

The Savills office is located in the High Street near the station and Pantiles. From here the office covers the immediate town and surrounding villages of approximately a 15 mile radius.
