Savills Southampton Urban Design

Savills Southampton Urban Design team has extensive experience in designing bespoke masterplans for both private and public sector clients, from unlocking the potential of urban brownfield sites, to creating new communities. The team is based in the Southampton office and is an important part of the Savills national urban design service. Our urban design team incorporates the broad range of place making skills that are essential to informed masterplans, including landscape architecture, heritage, architecture and public engagement.

Masterplanning

Savills masterplanners frequently work alongside our development, commercial property, new homes and affordable housing teams in delivering an integrated consultancy service to our clients. From the initial evaluation of the site, through market evaluation, masterplanning and detailed design, to the submission of a planning application and disposal of the sites, we have vast experience of delivering commercially informed, but also environmentally sensitive and attractively designed developments.

Landscape architecture

Unique to the Southampton office is Savills Landscape Architecture is both a Landscape Institute Registered Practice and integral part of Savills Urban Design and Planning consultancy. Our award-winning team of experienced Chartered Landscape Architects can add significant value to projects at any stage, from site appraisal through to full construction design and implementation. By working closely with our clients, we are able to demonstrate the importance that landscape architecture plays in facilitating the planning and development processes, as well as creating sustainable, practical and attractive places.
