Our client base is varied and includes all the main lenders, public sector, corporate and private individuals, providing valuation and consultancy advice for loan security purposes, expert witness, business/partnership planning, purchase and taxation.
In the current world of limited transactions on which to base our valuations, our expertise in both the general commercial markets and our specific patch within Norfolk/Suffolk enables us to provide robust and reasoned advice.
Development valuation and appraisal work is undertaken alongside our new homes, strategic development and planning colleagues. Appraisals are only as accurate as the input data used and our knowledge of the development sector together with our colleagues’ expertise ensures that we can provide values that are current and relevant. We provide appraisals for Red Book purposes and also to support planning applications, Section 106 negotiations and for use in consultations on the Community Infrastructure Levy.
Our Rural Team values all types of rural property including farmhouses and cottages. We work closely with both the residential and farm agency teams thereby ensuring comparable sales information and market trends are always up to date. In particular the Rural Team has significant experience in probate valuation work and liaise closely with other professionals to ensure maximum tax relief is obtained.
Research is essential to valuation work as the need to take a view on the future of a building or site is now as important as its current value. We strive to keep abreast of the ever changing influences on property such as planning legislation and sustainability.
