Savills Norwich is based in Hardwick House, just one of a multitude of magnificent buildings old and new that make up the historic capital of East Anglia.

The Savills office was built as the Crown Bank, part of the city’s flourishing 19th century banking industry and, today, Norwich remains a key centre for financial services as well as the media and scientific research.

The city’s Norman cathedral, castle and medieval streets coupled with major urban regeneration, modern shops and entertainment venues make it a popular visitor destination as well as a desirable place to live and work. Employers include Aviva, Virgin, Archant and Kettle Foods; and on the outskirts of the city lie both the University of East Anglia and an international airport.

Further afield Norfolk is home to Lotus and its F1 team and Bernard Matthews Farms. It offers a diverse landscape of pretty villages, market towns, rural estates and farms signalling the county’s rich agricultural tradition. The picturesque Broads and glorious coastline form an integral part of Norfolk’s charms which continue to capture those in search of an attractive live work balance.
