What is Northcote Road like?
Running through the streets between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common, Northcote Road is the hub of activity for the local area. Attracting young families with its mix of independent boutiques, restaurants and bars, it also features many high street favourites and is the vibrant heart of this part of London.
Only a short walk to the open spaces of either common, the area is fantastic for families thanks to a selection of excellent private and state schools, including Honeywell School and Belleville School.

Often referred to as 'Nappy Valley' the area between the commons is a favourite with young families. Both Clapham and Wandsworth commons provide all the outdoor space anyone could need, as well as tennis courts, a bowling green and public events including the extremely popular firework display.
Northcote Road itself provides a great mix of shops, restaurants and bars including an antiques market and artisan bread stall. At the weekends the road is bustling and gives the area a real community feel.
The Northcote Road area is surrounded by great connections including Clapham Junction and Wandsworth Common which provide excellent rail links to Victoria, Waterloo, west London and the national network.
You also have Balham and Clapham South on the Northern Line, offering an easy commute to the City, London Bridge and Kings Cross St Pancras.
The A3 provides access to the M25 at junction 10 if you're heading west and the A23 can take you south.
