Client testimonials

"We have just sold our house with Savills... reputationally, people tend to go to them [Savills in Fulham] first." Emma, Savills Fulham Client

"We were extremely satisfied with the service we received from Savills and Victoria in particular was fantastic throughout the whole process. Their marketing approach was very slick (as we expected) and it took very little time to find a great buyer. We are very glad that we chose Savills and would have no hesitation recommending them." Mr & Mrs B - Munster Road.

“We first contacted Savills because we originally bought our current home through them, 13 years ago. We have always found them a great company to deal with, and thanks to our experience of buying this property through you (Victoria), that opinion has only been enhanced” Mrs A – Stephendale Road.

“Alfie, I Just wanted to write a quick note thanking you for all your help with regard to the sale of my house. It was a fantastic result and I look forward to working with Savills again in the future.” Mr W – Clonmel Road

What is Fulham like?

Fulham is a family friendly area on the River Thames.

It is popular with young professionals, families and international buyers attracted by its perfect blend of style and convenience, its numerous excellent schools and its attractive greens and parks, such as Eel Brook Common, Bishops Park, Hurlingham Park and Fulham Palace Gardens. Families tend to remain in the area long-term, so there is an active community spirit.

Property in Fulham

Fulham was comprehensively developed in the late 19th century, so opportunities for building anew are rare. Period charm and the area’s long-term investment appeal are therefore assured.

The most sought after areas are the Peterborough Estate, Hurlingham, the Moore Park Estate and the pretty streets around Parson’s Green. The Peterborough Estate is characterised by the ‘Lion houses’ - terraced townhouses each topped by a terracotta lion that represent the cream of Fulham property.

Classic townhouses are also plentiful in the Moore Park Estate, closer to Chelsea. For larger, semi-detached houses, head to Bishops Park and Hurlingham.

Around Parsons Green, streets of pretty cottages are handy for the station.

For prime ‘Lion’ houses, try Chiddingstone Street, Chipstead Street and Quarrendon Street.

For more space, try Doneraile Street, Ellerby Street, Napier Avenue and Ranelagh Avenue.

For smaller, ‘first-time’ family homes, try Beltran Road or ‘The Villes’ - the collective name for Marville Road, Rosaville Road, Brookville Road and Parkville Road north of the Fulham Road.

The local scene

The exclusive Hurlingham Club is a major draw, and Fulham is home to two Premier League football clubs, Fulham and Chelsea.

Fulham has three stations on the District line (Parsons Green, Fulham Broadway and Putney Bridge), making an easy commute into the West End and the City. The 22 bus route also gives fantastic access to central London.

Schools in Fulham

The junior Lycée Français in Clancarty Street, and the number 14 bus route along Fulham road to the main Lycée in Kensington, make Fulham extremely popular with French expatriates.

Other major schools include Lady Margaret School for girls on Parsons Green; Kensington Prep on Fulham Road; Parsons Green Prep School and Thomas's day school.
