Clitheroe, the Ribble Valley and the surrounding areas have always been a well- kept secret with areas of outstanding natural beauty, quaint villages and small market towns. The areas have always been affluent with many business owners and entrepreneurs deciding to reside in the country, yet still requiring good network links for business. Clitheroe itself has a main train line into the centre of Manchester as well as being just approximately an hour’s drive away. Preston and Lancaster both have direct trains into the centre of London which is also a big draw for the area.
Many families choose to bring their children up in the area due to the excellent schools that are available from both public and private, such as Clitheroe Royal Grammar School and Stonyhurst College to name just a few. Clitheroe and its surrounding villages have always enjoyed low crime rates and high employment which adds to the attraction to the area.
