The Regency spa town of Cheltenham is renowned for its high quality shopping, period buildings and most attractive municipal gardens. Its heyday as a spa town was to last from about 1790 to 1850 and it was during these years that many of the town’s fine Regency terraces, crescents and villas were built. It also provides wonderful leisure activities including the well known literary, cricket and music festivals, and is home to the famous racecourse which plays host to the Gold Cup every Spring.
Cheltenham is also well known for its excellent schools. Cheltenham College, Cheltenham Ladies, Dean Close and St Edwards are all highly regarded independent schools, the first three of which offer boarding. Cheltenham College, Dean Close and St Edwards all have junior schools too along with The Richard Pate School which feeds in to Pates Grammer Secondary School in Cheltenham. There are also many excellent state primary and secondary schools, the most sought after of which is Balcarras Secondary School.
The Cheltenham office lies at the end of the Promenade on Imperial Square, next to the Town Hall and the municipal gardens. As well as selling town houses and apartments, the office covers the idyllic villages in the North Cotswolds, Herefordshire and Worcestershire
