Are you getting what you hoped for?
I have worked for Savills for 10 years and I am based in London. I am responsible for the development teams that manage the intranet, website and other key internal key corporate applications.
Are there any specific projects or opportunities that you have worked on?
In 2005, I worked in our Shanghai office for eight months and set up the IT team for the region. I also developed and implemented the property management helpdesk system for China.
Has your Savills experience been what you hoped for?
The key thing that makes Savills different has been the people. The teams are friendly, hardworking and easy to get along with. Yet they remain professional with high levels of commitment on virtually every project that I have been involved in.
What is the greatest benefit working at Savills?
The endless opportunities to get involved in really interesting and varied projects, across the whole business.
How would you describe your working style?
Every morning the technical team has a 10 minute meeting to ensure everyone is aware of the key issues across all projects. My working style is very communicative with colleagues.
