Rural Agency Graduate/Assistant - Banbury

Job Description:

Principally to assist in the sale and purchase of land, farms and estates from the Savills Banbury office, but with regular visits to our Oxford and Cheltenham offices, as part of the Central England Rural Agency department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing sales details and reports
  • Carrying out due diligence in preparation for sales and valuations
  • Sales negotiation and handling of sales though to completion
  • Assist the department in building the Rural Agency business through networking internally and externally to build close relationships with existing and new clients and other professionals
  • Ability to take on and carry out a range of one-off professional and management consultancy jobs
  • In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
  • Assisting with departmental administration
  • The coordination of departmental advertising and compliance

Candidate Profile:

  • Ideally holding an RICS exempting degree
  • Enthusiastic and outward going individual
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • An ability to work as part of a team and alone
  • An ability to work in a clear and logical fashion with good organisational skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and help generate new instructions
  • An attention to detail with an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • An interest in developing new business and to become an established and key team member
  • A rural or agricultural background
  • IT skills required - Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • An understanding of Reapit and Dynamics helpful but not essential
  • Full clean driving licence
