Assistant Property Manager - Crewe

Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Property Manager to work in a diverse management role within our Crewe project office.

This is an exciting role which will involve assisting the Property Manager with the management of a growing and varied rural residential property portfolio for a high profile client.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a wide variety of residential properties, be familiar with the letting process and have a good understanding of property repairs and maintenance. 

ARLA membership is preferred, although not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

The key activities for this role are to have knowledge, ability and experience of:

  • The rural and residential property market and letting process
  • Assisting the Property Manager with the management of a diverse and highly active portfolio
  • Preparation of tenancy agreements and processing TDS deposits
  • Compliance requirements of managed property
  • Property inspections, rent reviews and tenancy renewals
  • Monitoring rent arrears
  • Instructing and signing off property repairs
  • Good ability to follow processes

Other responsibilities:

  • To ask questions, interact and discuss objectives and the day to day work of your team
  • Provide assistance to other team members wherever possible
  • Develop and maintain active communication both within your team and other teams

Candidate Profile:

  • Rural and residential property management knowledge
  • High attention to detail, well organised, ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • A good team player
  • Computer literate and a good understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel
