Team Leader - Salisbury

Job Description:

The lead duties for a Team Leader in the Asset Management Team  include; liaising with estate agents / solicitors and surveyors in the sale of residential repossession / portfolio properties. Ensuring a very high quality of client / customer care is achieved.

Duties include assisting management in the running/management of the following teams; Valuations / Audit and Sales/Completions Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will include managing a small portfolio of properties as well as assisting the Head of Operations / Team Manager in the following:

  • Target Setting.
  • Selecting clients stock for disposal.
  • Site visits with client to asses stock for acquisition purposes.
  • Monitoring of Team / Dept performance.
  • Managing holiday bookings.
  • Conducting appraisal meetings.
  • Preparation for client meetings.
  • Reviewing older stock cases and problem solving
  • Arranging / chairing team/dept meetings.
  • Reviewing client results / league tables looking at areas of improvement.
  • Building on existing client relationships.
  • Assisting with recruitment and interviews.
  • Managing the team in the absence of the HOSD.
  • Team Training.
  • Competition / Motivational Ideas for driving results.
  • Assisting and checking weekly / monthly / client reports.
  • Offering fresh ideas and solutions to improve process and business flow.
  • Assist on driving performance.
  • Assisting with report writing.
  • Signing off property advisors files.
  • Ad hoc team support as and when required and instructed by the HOSD.
  • Reviewing audit results with the Auditor Advisor / clients.

Good leadership/organisation / negotiation skills are essential to ensure the best possible results are achieved with effectively for our clients.

The role is a busy one working within time pressures, being part an enthusiastic team dedicated to excellence in a highly competitive business.

Candidate Profile:

  • The candidate will have good IT skills and have a good attention to detail. Must be self motivated and be able to work on own initiative when required.
  • Be able to respond positively to deadlines and have a challenge culture.
  • At least 2 years working in asset management at a “senior” level or 2 years relevant management experience.
  • The individual needs to be result driven and Target focused.
  • Full training and support will be provided, along with active mentoring over the first six months.
