AML Analyst - Finsbury Circus

Job Description:

Savills UK Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance team are looking to recruit an AML Analyst

Working alongside existing AML Analysts the chosen candidate’s main responsibility will be to undertake client due diligence (CDD) in accordance with the Money Laundering Regulations (2017).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using Savills Compliance systems to undertake client due diligence
  • Obtaining corporate information from relevant sources (e.g., Companies House)
  • Review of information collated to determine further information requirements (including analysis of financial information)
  • Completion of a client identity record and update of associated client log and compliance systems
  • Liaising with fee earners and/or clients to obtain further information where we are not able to obtain the required information from public sources
  • Ensuring identity checks are conducted within the time frames set out in our internal procedures.
  • Ongoing follow up of incomplete checks
  • Update of CRM systems where identity checks have been completed
  • Where required assist the Finance team with credit checks on outstanding debtors.

Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • A working knowledge of HMRC’s AML guidance is desirable.
  • Business acumen and professionalism is required due to the exposure to all levels of the business from graduates to Executive Directors.
  • Good communication skills and a resilient personality are imperative.
  • A good all round system knowledge is key (particularly Microsoft excel skills).
  • Good research and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
