Savills further expands in the north east

14 July 2017

Rory Galloway has returned to Savills as a Director within the Rural division, based in the property firm’s Aberdeen office. Rory will be working  with the established North East team, alongside fellow Directors Ewan Berkeley in the valuation and professional department and Ruaraidh Ogilvie in farms and estates agency. He will be involved in expanding both of these service lines for Savills in the North East.

Simpson Buglass, Head of Savills Aberdeen said:  “We are delighted to have Rory back in the Savills fold, based in our multi-service office in Aberdeen where a team of rural specialists sit alongside our Commercial, Development, Planning and Residential teams.  As Scotland’s rural sector becomes more diversified, with farmers expanding into a whole range of enterprises from renewables to property development, it is helpful that our property specialists can easily collaborate in order to provide the best service to clients.”

Rory Galloway has rejoined Savills after two years where he advised on a number of property projects on a freelance basis.  He said:  “The company has seen some exciting growth in the North East during the short time I have been away.  I am very much looking forward to being part of  Aberdeen team and tapping into the comprehensive range of expertise on offer there.  However, I will also be spending a significant amount of my time out and about across the North East, particularly in Angus, where I live and have strong rural connections, advising clients on a wide range of issues from valuations, succession planning and buying and selling rural property.”
