03 July 2012
Savills, on behalf of South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS), has acquired the remaining space at Southern House, Otterbourne, near Winchester from Edgehill Battesea.
Southern House totals 36,000 sq ft (3,344 sq m) over two floors and SCAS has agreed a new eleven year lease on the fully refurbished second floor, which totals 4,120 sq ft (383 sq m). SCAS already occupies 13,911 sq ft (1,292 sq m) in the north wing of Southern House. The deal takes Southern House to full capacity.
Tim Longhurst Director at Savills comments: “We advised SCAS on its relocation to Southern House in 2007 when it took space for its HQ and control centre. This additional floor space is required to meet SCAS accommodation requirements to service the 111 contract it has been awarded.”
Phillip Nelson of Edgehill Battersea says: “We are delighted to conclude this letting with SCAS who occupy along with the NHS Education Service.”
Edgehill Battersea was represented by Hollis Hockley.
