Savills management team take a bite of six Purple Apples
24 May 2012
Savills property management team scooped six accolades at the annual BCSC Purple Apple Awards held recently at The Brewery in London. The awards recognise marketing within the shopping centre sector, and this year’s win augments Savills success at the 2011 awards where the firm picked up four accolades.
This year, the Savills team received awards in categories from Community Relations to Effective Advertising. Two Savills managed schemes won for highly successful events: Whitefriars in Canterbury for its Amazing Advent Calendar and the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe was awarded for its Dads Are Heroes campaign. Eden also took home a PR award for its Vintage Fair, which took place in October 2011.
The Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork, another Savills managed scheme, won the Strategic/Overall Integrated Marketing Campaign category. The initiative that secured them the Purple Apple was a gift card scheme that raised monthly corporate gift card sales by 75% in December 2011.
In London, The Broadwalk Shopping Centre in Edgeware and the Southside in Wandsworth were successful for their Mighty Monarch Montage and Everyday Living campaigns respectively.
Claire Johnson, Marketing Manager in Savills property management team, comments: “To have exceeded our success at last year’s awards is a fantastic achievement and reflects our ongoing marketing innovation and dedication to providing a best practice service to our clients across the UK and Ireland.”
