20 April 2012
Savills picked up the accolade for office agency of the year at Property Week’s annual Property Awards held at Grosvenor House Hotel last night (19 April 2012). The ceremony also saw the company’s valuation and investment teams highly recommended in their respective categories.
Jeremy Bates collected the award, sponsored by communications company Innesco, from TV personality Jonathan Ross. The team has significantly increased its market share over the past year in all national markets, including notable new business wins in London, Leeds and Cardiff.
Jeremy Bates, National Head of Office agency, says: “We are delighted with this award which is testament to the strength of our national team and the work each individual has done to grow our business and provide our clients with a best in class service. It is a privilege to work with such talented and dedicated people across our business.”
Chairman Mark Ridley also presented Savills sponsored category, developer of the year, to Great Portland Estates. He comments: “Congratulations to the National Offices team who have worked very hard and thoroughly deserve this recognition. The fact that our Valuation and Investment teams were also highly recommended is evidence of the outstanding service we provide across the business.”
The 46-strong office agency team has won a number of major instructions across the country and has developed its corporate element base and tenant representation services in partnership with Cresa Partners in the US.
