Savills takes the express in Manchester

23 June 2011

A&A Investments has recently appointed international real estate advisor Savills as the joint letting agent at Express Building on Great Ancoats Street in Manchester.

The iconic Grade II listed building was built in the mid 1930’s and was the former headquarters of Express Newspapers. It has since been comprehensively refurbished by Savills building consultancy team to provide 75,599 sq ft (7,023 sq m) of highly specified office space over seven floors, along with 177 car parking spaces.

James Evans, director at Savills, comments: "Express Building is a landmark building that occupies a prime position within Manchester’s renowned Northern Quarter. This, combined with the newly refurbished offices that offer high quality, modern and flexible space, makes it a very appealing opportunity for prospective tenants."

Quoting rents at Express Building start at £13.75 per sq ft (£148 per sq m).

Savills will act jointly with Edwards & Co.
