Savills boosts industrial & logistics offer with new head of occupier services

03 July 2017

International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Sally Duggleby, formerly of Amazon UK,  to head up the development of its industrial and logistics occupier services offer, working alongside the firms national agency, investment and building and project consultancy teams.

Previously head of Amazon UK’s real estate team, for the past seven years Sally has overseen the property acquisitions for the business, which accounted for a significant proportion of big shed (units of 100,000 sq ft +) take-up in 2016. Prior to working at Amazon, Sally spent time as an asset manager for both John Lewis and Brixton Plc and is now returning to an advisory role having started her career at Cluttons and King Sturge.

Richard Sullivan, national head of industrial and logistics at Savills, comments: “With the strength of focus still on the industrial and logistics sector, the business is constantly looking to evolve and add value to its client offer. The appointment of Sally as director in charge of our occupier service line is market leading and we look forward to welcoming her into the national team. Her skill set is unique and will form the solid foundation for future growth not just in the UK, but also in Europe with the ultimate aim to go global.”

Jeremy Bates, head of European occupier services at Savills, adds: “Recruiting Sally to lead a new occupier service team in the industrial & logistics market is consistent with our strategy to both grow our occupier services business and to develop innovative new service lines that reflect our clients changing requirements, particularly in the retail and logistics space.”
