Hall & Woodhouse appoints Savills to sell The Kings Arms Hotel, Hampton Court

04 November 2016

Regional brewer Hall & Woodhouse, represented by Savills, has brought to market the Kings Arms Hotel on the Hampton Court Palace Estate in the London Borough of Richmond.  The Grade II listed property is being offered for sale freehold or by way of a new “free of tie” lease.

Dating back to 1658, the inn was originally used by soldiers garrisoned at Hampton Court Barracks and now features attractive bar and restaurant areas in addition to 13 well appointed en-suite bedrooms.  It is situated on Lion Gate, at the northern edge of the Hampton Court Palace Estate and directly opposite the entrance to Bushy Park.

Paul Breen, director in the licensed leisure team at Savills, comments: “The Kings Arms Hotel is steeped in history and benefits from a high footfall location on the doorstep of Hampton Court Palace and Bushy Park.  It is extremely rare for such a high quality asset to come to the market in this part of Surrey and we anticipate a broad range of interest from established operators and new entrants.”
