Savills wins award for ‘Love London’ residential social media marketing campaign

Savills ‘Love London’ social media campaign has been awarded Best Professional Services Content Marketing Strategy/Campaign at The Drum Content Awards.

Hosted at The Emirates Stadium on 18 November 2015, the awards are run by The Drum, the UK’s largest marketing magazine, and were newly established in 2015 to recognise best in class content marketing.

The judges based their decisions on five categories: evidence of clear strategic thinking, innovation, tangible results, proof of effectiveness and creativity.

Selecting ‘Love London’ as the winning campaign, the judges commented: “The winner was the perfect piece of branded content as it was engaging in its own merit, never mind that it came from a brand. On the right platform for the right audience.”

Launched at the start of the summer, ‘Love London’ utilised Facebook, Twitter and online networks to share video and blog content with a targeted audience of prospective home buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants. Developed by social media agency Cubaka, the project was the first fully integrated social media marketing campaign for Savills and had more than 1 million online video views.

‘Love London’ was also nominated for Best use of Facebook at the UK Social Media Communications Awards 2015 earlier this year.
