Development Assistant - Nottingham
A Development Assistant is required to help the Nottingham Development Department with a range of tasks. Savills Nottingham is a highly successful office that services the East Midlands Region.
The Development Department has a diverse and extensive workload which encompasses valuation, agency, planning and consultancy work involving residential, commercial, mixed-use and regeneration schemes. The clients comprise leading private and public sector clients active throughout the East Midlands Region.
Job specification:
The Development Assistant's tasks will include market
research, data gathering, mapping, site visits, viewings,
marketing, market analysis, reviewing planning policy and financial
appraisal work.
The position is full time for a fixed period of six months.
The hours of duty will be during normal working hours (09.00 to
17.30). The position will report to the Head of the Department. The
preparation of written and marketing material will be an important
part of the role.
Candidate specification:
- Knowledge of the property market.
- A property degree or previous experience would be preferential.
- Resourceful and demonstrate good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to undertake tasks individually with minimum supervision and the ability to think on their feet.
- Expected to carry out detailed research and liaise with, and interview, third parties.
- Marketing skills and a working knowledge of financial appraisal software would be advantageous.
- Full driving licence would be preferential.
