Job Description:
An opportunity has become available for an Experienced
Database Administrator across Investment and Agency teams within
Savills Commercial based in London W1. The role is to establish and
maintain a comprehensive comparables database of property
transactions across all commercial property sectors in which
Savills is active. This will require knowledge of Microsoft Access
software, Excel and other external databases/sources. The
successful candidate will be required to maintain contacts at a
similar level in other firms elsewhere across the property
industry, and should have experience of ringing agents for
comparables and keeping in touch with others in their peer group
across the industry.
Duties Include:
- Establishing and maintaining comprehensive database of property transactions
- Producing bespoke reports/data extracts
- Networking within industry
- Directly liaising with industry contacts and Savills staff
Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm (however, in order to meet business requirements, you may be asked to work outside of these hours).
Candidate Profile:
- Advanced Access and Excel skills
- Knowledge of external databases/ sources i.e. Focus, EGi
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Good analytical and numeracy skills
- Flexible
- Ability to use initiative and work under pressure
