Complex and onerous lease obligations combined with constantly changing market conditions, case law and property legislation has created a minefield for the poorly advised and often leads to dilapidations disputes.

Dilapidations claims often start out in the region of £30 sq ft and can run into £millions. Opposing clients who consider dilapidations to be a non-specialist surveying service that can be adequately dealt with by their normal generalist surveyor are rudely awakened in the early stages of negotiations.
