Chicago Spire Launches in London
The tallest residential building in the world is coming to London. The 2000 ft, 150 storey Santiago Calatrava - designed Chicago Spire will be launched to the UK market in London's Mayfair on the 30th June, 1st and 2nd July 2008. The iconic tower, which is currently being built on the shores of Lake Michigan, Chicago, will be launched with a cocktail party and 3-day sales exhibition at The Music Room on South Molton Lane, W1K 5AB.
'The London event is part of our international marketing for the first phase of sales at The Chicago Spire. Since our launch in Chicago in January of this year, we have exhibited in South East Asia, Ireland, and South Africa with overwhelming success and we are delighted to report that over 30% of the 1,194 apartments have been sold. This outstanding start to our sales programme illustrates the Chicago Spire's status as one of the world's most exciting new developments and Chicago as a dynamic 're emerging' world city,' said Dominic Grace, Head of Savills Residential Development and leader of the global sales campaign.
The Chicago Spire will be the second tallest building in the world when it is completed in 2012. Prices start at $800,000 for a suite and go up to $40m for the top penthouse, a duplex with 360 degree views reaching over four US states. For details please call Savills on: +44(0) 20 7016 3796
