Corporate Responsibility
Our success depends upon our reputation, brand and relationship with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
By incorporating corporate responsibility (CR) into our day to day business, we are better able to:
- retain and recruit the best people by meeting the expectations and values of current and future staff;
- retain and attract clients by listening and responding to their changing needs by developing new and innovative services; and
- support and enhance the Savills brand globally through promoting ethical and responsible attitudes.
Savills CR Programme for 2008 centres on four key themes:
Environment
Savills is committed to reducing the impact of our operations on
the environment and raising the environmental awareness of our
people.
People
Savills will continue to invest in its most valuable resources -
its people, by providing training and career development
opportunities, encouraging work-life balance, reinforcing equality
and diversity in the workplace.
Clients
Savills will respond to changes in the marketplace to offer
services that meet the needs of our clients, while staying
accountable to our shareholders.
Community
Savills will play a part in contributing positively to the
communities in which it operates.
We are a values driven business, and as such remain committed
to conducting all aspects of our business according to ethical,
professional and legal standards.
Our Board is responsible for ensuring our policies and
standards reflect our corporate values. Whilst these are more fully
developed in the UK, we aim to, wherever possible, develop and
apply them in our overseas businesses.

Report and Accounts 2007.
